The server with mac 67-2e has two nics and one is connected to this private heartbeat switch and the other goes to the LAN. Mac address 67-2e should only be on port 2/1 as that is where the nic with burned in address 67-2e is connected.Īt first the mac 67-2E was not showing up in the cam table so I pulled the ethernet cable out of port 6 and then the mac start showing up on 2/1, 2/2, 2/3, 2/5, 2/6 and 2/7. Mac address xx-xx-64-91-67-2e randomly showed up on six different ports until I rebooted the switch.
